Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Backend Developer to assist in building and maintaining back-end services. As a junior developer, you will work closely with senior team members to learn and contribute to the development of APIs, services, and database systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of back-end services and APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code under the guidance of senior developers.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
- Help with the creation and management of databases and implement queries.
- Perform unit testing and help with debugging and troubleshooting.
- Assist in the creation of documentation for APIs and services.
- Participate in code reviews and learning from senior developers.
- Follow development best practices, including writing clean, efficient code.
- Support the development of scalable, secure, and efficient backend systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of professional experience in back-end development (internships or personal projects can be considered).
- Basic proficiency in back-end programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Java, or PHP.
- Familiarity with database management systems like MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB.
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic knowledge of web technologies.
- Knowledge of version control tools such as Git.
- Strong desire to learn and develop technical skills.
- Good problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
- Exposure to containerization (Docker) and CI/CD processes.
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Understanding of security practices in web development.
