Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented SEO Analyst to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and expertise in optimizing website content and structure to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic. You will work closely with content creators, web developers, and marketing strategists to implement effective SEO strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive SEO audits for websites, identifying technical, on-page, and off-page issues.
- Perform keyword research and analysis to identify growth opportunities.
- Develop and implement on-page SEO strategies including meta tags, headings, URL structure, and content optimization.
- Monitor website performance using SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, or Moz.
- Analyze competitor SEO strategies and industry trends to inform optimization efforts.
- Collaborate with content teams to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content creation.
- Track, report, and analyze website traffic, rankings, and other SEO metrics.
- Recommend and implement link-building strategies.
- Stay updated with the latest SEO trends, algorithm changes, and best practices.
- Work with web developers to ensure SEO-friendly website architecture and technical fixes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in SEO analysis and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of search engine algorithms, ranking factors, and SEO tools.
- Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO software (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Screaming Frog, etc.).
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and website architecture for SEO purposes.
- Experience with keyword research and competitive analysis.
- Ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, etc.) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with PPC and digital marketing campaigns.
- Knowledge of technical SEO aspects like schema markup, hreflang, canonical tags.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript and its impact on SEO.
- Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization.
- Certifications like Google Analytics, Google Ads, or HubSpot SEO certification are a plus.
